Multiple accounts
Connect more than one mail and calendar account to Lightfield, such as a second work mailbox, and see which plans allow it.
Available on Pro, Growth and Enterprise
You can connect more than one mail and calendar account, for example a second work mailbox or a Gmail and an Outlook account. Each account syncs its own email and meetings and keeps its own settings.
Who can use it
Section titled “Who can use it”Every plan lets each member connect one account. Connecting more than one is on Pro, Growth and Enterprise. Owners, admins and members can connect accounts; Viewers can’t.
On Starter, Add account is greyed out once you have a connected account. Admins see the tooltip The Starter plan includes one connected account per member. Upgrade in Billing to add more. and members see The Starter plan includes one connected account per member. Ask your admin to upgrade. To add more, an admin changes the plan in Settings → Billing, or you can contact Lightfield. Until then, you can switch to a different mailbox: disconnect your current account, then add the new one.
Earlier plans can differ. Check your workspace’s available features.
Add another account
Section titled “Add another account”Don’t add an address that’s already an alias of a connected account. Its mail already syncs through that account, and Lightfield stops you with That account is already connected. Mail sent from its aliases is tracked automatically, so there is nothing to add.
- Go to Settings → Mail and Calendar. The Accounts tab opens.
- Click Add account.
- Choose this account’s settings on the page that opens. They start at their defaults and don’t copy your other account’s settings.
- At the top right, click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft and sign in with the address you want to add.
- Grant every permission your provider asks for, including mail, calendar and contacts.
The new account appears on the Accounts tab as Connected, next to your other accounts. Click it to change its settings; Mail and Calendar explains each one.
