Signing in

Sign in to Lightfield with Google, single sign-on or an email link, see how multi-factor authentication applies, and fix sign-in problems.

Lightfield doesn’t use passwords. You sign in with Google, with your company’s single sign-on (SSO), or with a link sent to your email.

Signing in with Google or an email link works on every plan and for every role. SSO is on Enterprise; see SSO.

Earlier plans can differ. Check your workspace’s available features.

Go to crm.lightfield.app and choose one of these:

MethodHow it works
Continue with GoogleGoogle checks your identity and signs you in.
Continue with SSOEnter your work email and sign in through your company’s identity provider.
Email linkEnter your work email and click the arrow. The screen shows Check your inbox. Open the link in the email to sign in.

Use the same method every time. If your account was created with Google, sign in with Google; if it was created with an email link, use an email link. Another method shows a message asking you to sign in with your original one.

When it worked, Lightfield opens the page you last viewed, or Up next.

Continue with Google doesn’t appear in some in-app browsers, such as when you open a link from inside a social media app. Open the page in your regular browser instead.

Microsoft users sign in with SSO or an email link. Continue with Microsoft appears only later, when you connect an Outlook mailbox and calendar. See Mail and Calendar.

To see your signed-in devices or sign out of them, see Security.

Because Lightfield has no passwords, multi-factor authentication (MFA) comes from the account you sign in with:

  • Google and SSO sign-ins use the MFA you or your company enforce on those accounts. To require MFA for your team, turn it on in Google Workspace or your identity provider.
  • Email links prove that you control your inbox at that moment, so protect your email account with MFA.

For many security frameworks, this meets the intent of MFA requirements: Lightfield verifies your identity through a trusted channel before granting access.

If your organization needs specific MFA controls, or documentation for a security review, email support@lightfield.app with the requirement and Lightfield maps it to how sign-in works. For Lightfield’s security program, see Security.

You picked a Google account other than the one your invitation was sent to. To switch:

  1. Open your profile menu and click Log out.
  2. Click Continue with Google and pick the account your invitation went to.

Email links work once and expire after a short time. Go back to the sign-in page and request a new link. If you requested more than one, use the most recent email.

Some email security tools and browser extensions open a link a second time after you click it. In a browser, if you’re already signed in when a used link opens again, Lightfield keeps your session and takes you into the app.

Check your spam or junk folder, and confirm you typed your work email correctly. On the Check your inbox screen, click Resend email to get a new link.

Does Lightfield have passwords? No. You sign in with Google, SSO or an email link.

Does Lightfield support multi-factor authentication? Yes, through the account you sign in with. Google and SSO sign-ins use the MFA enforced there, and email links rely on the protections on your email account.

Can I sign in with SSO on any plan? No. SSO is on Enterprise. On other plans, sign in with Google or an email link. See SSO.

Can I sign in with Microsoft? Not directly. Use SSO or an email link with your Microsoft work email. Continue with Microsoft is for connecting an Outlook mailbox and calendar after you sign in.
