Integrations and developer connections

Integrations

Connect Slack, Microsoft Teams, Gong and Granola for your whole workspace, and see the other ways Lightfield connects to your tools.

Settings → Integrations is where an admin connects an app once for the whole workspace, so its messages, recordings, transcripts and notes land on everyone’s records without anyone asking. It holds Granola, Gong, Microsoft Teams and Slack.

Only owners and admins see Settings → Integrations. The tab is on every plan; what it lists depends on your plan:

IntegrationWhat it doesPlans
GranolaAttaches Granola transcripts and notes to your matching meetingsEvery plan
GongAttaches Gong recordings and transcripts to your matching meetingsEvery plan
Microsoft TeamsSyncs Teams channels to accounts and opportunitiesPro, Growth and Enterprise
SlackSyncs Slack channels to accounts and opportunities, and puts the agent in SlackChannel sync on Starter, Pro, Growth and Enterprise

Earlier plans can differ. Check your workspace’s available features.

Integrations, Connectors and External apps

Section titled “Integrations, Connectors and External apps”

Settings has three places for connecting apps, and they do different jobs:

Settings → IntegrationsSettings → External appsSettings → Connectors
Who connectsAn admin, once for the workspaceEach person, for their own accountEach person, for their own account
AppsGranola, Gong, Microsoft Teams, SlackGranola, LinkedIn, plus Slack and Microsoft Teams on plans with themApps such as Notion, Linear, Granola and Stripe
Imports data into the CRMYesYes, for Granola and LinkedIn; Slack and Teams link you to the workspace connectionNo; the agent looks things up and acts when you ask

Start with Integrations if you’re an admin, because those connections fill everyone’s records. Then each person connects their own accounts in External apps and adds Connectors for the apps they want the agent to look things up in.

Granola appears in all three. The integration and the External apps connection attach transcripts to your meetings; the connector only lets the agent search your Granola notes when you ask.

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations and find the app.
  2. Click Connect and follow that app’s steps: Granola, Gong, Microsoft Teams or Slack.

When it worked, the app shows as Connected. If a Granola or Gong connection lapses, its card shows This integration has been disconnected; reconnect it from the same card.

  • Claude and other AI assistants: connect Claude, or any assistant that supports MCP, to read and update your CRM with your own access. See Claude.
  • Webhooks: on Pro, Growth and Enterprise, an admin can ask Lightfield in chat to build an automation with a webhook trigger. It gives you a URL to paste into the other tool, such as a form or a notetaker that sends webhooks, and runs each time that tool sends data. Automations can also send HTTP requests out to other services. See Automations.
  • The Lightfield API: create, read, update and delete records, log meetings and transcripts, and send emails from your own code. Admins create keys in API keys.
  • Moving from another CRM: Lightfield has no built-in two-way sync with other CRMs. Import a CSV, keep HubSpot records flowing with HubSpot sync, or build your own integration with the API.
  • Phone calls: Lightfield has no built-in dialer and doesn’t log calls from one automatically. Log calls from another tool as notes; see Notes. Video calls on your synced calendar are recorded by the Lightfield recorder; see Recording.
  • A mobile app: there’s no native iOS or Android app. The web app at crm.lightfield.app works in mobile browsers, so you can chat with the agent, read meeting summaries, look up an account before a meeting and mark tasks complete. Add it to your phone’s home screen to open it like an app. If your workspace uses Slack, you can also chat with the agent from the Slack mobile app.

For an API integration, see reading synced messages and channels.

I don’t see Settings → Integrations. Why? Only owners and admins see it. Ask one of them to connect the integration, then connect your own account in External apps.

What if the integration I need isn’t listed? First check Connectors for an app the agent can use directly. For a one-time copy, consider chat or a CSV import. For recurring data transfers, consider an automation or the API. To request a new integration, email support@lightfield.app.

I connected Granola in Connectors. Why aren’t transcripts on my meetings? The Granola connector only lets the agent search your notes. To attach transcripts to meetings, use the Granola integration or your own connection in External apps.
