People search
Ask Lightfield's agent to find new people by title, seniority, education and company, with verified work emails.

People search lets Lightfield’s agent find new people outside your CRM. It searches across companies by title, seniority, education and company filters, and finds people at companies you already know by job title, with verified work emails.
Who can use it

People search is on Growth and Enterprise, for every role that can use chat.
Find people
Section titled “Find people”- Click New chat under Chats in the left sidebar.
- Describe who you want the way you’d brief a teammate. Name the titles, seniority and companies, for example:
- “Find VPs of Engineering at Northwind Robotics and Acme Analytics.”
- “Find directors of RevOps at Globex, Initech and Umbrella Health.”
- Review the people the agent brings back in chat.
People search doesn’t add anyone to your CRM on its own. To keep someone, ask the agent to create them as a contact, for example “Add the first three as contacts on their accounts.”
Start narrow, with a few companies or one title. A tight brief returns people you’d actually contact, and you can widen it in the same chat.
Find people with web research
Section titled “Find people with web research”Every plan can research companies and people on the public web:
- Ask the agent about a named company, such as “Who leads engineering at Northwind Robotics?”
- Review the people and sources it finds.
- Ask the agent to create contacts for the people you choose. Your role must allow creating contacts. See Contacts.
Web research does not guarantee the same coverage or verified work emails as People search. Structured searches across companies by title, seniority and other filters use People search.
To get people search, an admin changes the plan in Settings → Billing, or contact Lightfield. See Billing.
Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”Can the agent find new leads on every plan? Partly. Every plan can research companies and people on the web. Finding new people by title, seniority and company filters needs Growth or Enterprise.
Does people search add contacts to my CRM? No. It shows the people it finds in chat. Ask the agent to add the ones you want as contacts.
Does people search find work emails? Yes. When it finds people at companies you already know by job title, it returns verified work emails.
